It would be a challenge now for the Cowboys to decide how Romo’s condition will change their offense.

During tonight’s Dallas Cowboys preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, it seemed like QB Tony Romo injured his back on two different sets of plays and head coach Jason Garrett has pulled him from the rest of the game.
Romo missed 12 games last season due to two collarbone fractures and the Cowboys went 1-11 in his absence.
“I felt great for camp”. Through three preseason games, Prescott is 39-for-50 passing (at least four incompletions are drops) for 454 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions.
“I thought he was going to try to throw it so I tried to swipe down and get his arm but I guess the force just, whatever, messed his back up”.
Romo was forced from the pocket by a blitz from K.J. Wright.
“I was just out there having fun, you know”, Chancellor said.
If Romo is fine, he’ll enter the regular season with these numbers: 5 of 6 for 60 yards in 15 preseason snaps.
The Lions cut veteran RB Stevan Ridley, who played with the Jets last season. He came back, for some reason, in Week 11 to try and help the 2-7 Cowboys make a run in the NFC East toilet bowl (eventual division victor Washington was only 3-5 at the time) but injured his shoulder again in Week 12.

Elliott had seven carries for 48 yards in his Cowboys debut. Prescott has done nothing to give the Cowboys any pause about making him Romo’s backup to start the season.
