Analysts and one prime investor in EA stated it was premature to conclude that the warning was an indication of weak demand.

The comments from GameStop, the world’s largest videogame retailer, do not reflect digital videogame sales and come days before Black Friday, traditionally the biggest shopping day in the United States.

American Century is EA’s eighth biggest shareholder, with a 3.03 percent stake, according to Thomson Reuters data.

Game publishers Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) and Take-Two Interactive Software (NASDAQ:TTWO) fell on GameStop’s report. To cut short this hatred towards Star Wars: Battlefront, it seems like Electronic Arts is misusing its power and money.
