Gardaí find stolen ATM in Monaghan
Gardaí found an ATM in the van and a forensic examination of the van and its contents are under way.

At Drumass, Inniskeen Gardaí came upon a white transit type van with three men nearby. His injuries, while serious, are not believed to be life threatening.
The dispenser was stolen from Camlough, Newry, Co Down, overnight, but was tracked down by officers from Carrickmacross Station, patrolling under operation Thor, during searches this morning.
The digger was subsequently set on fire, blocking the road, and causing traffic disruption. “From the accounts of those at the scene, this appears to have been a deliberate act and as such we will be treating this incident as the attempted murder of a police officer”.
The men are believed to have fled but police apprehended one of them men shortly afterwards and an ATM was found inside the van.
Police are looking for a vehicle described as “a low loader with a white cab, a yellow bumper, a red low loader body and carrying a white or silver vehicle”.
One man in his 20s was arrested in Co Monaghan, while two others fled the scene. Forensics are now examining the van.
