Gareth Bale to stay at Real Madrid till 2021
“It’s a sign of a great season on an individual level and on a collective level too, with Real Madrid having won the Champions League, and obviously it’s a lovely moment in my career and I’m happy”, he said.

Gareth Bale has signed a new £300,000-a-week contract extension with Real Madrid according to reports from the Spanish capital this afternoon.
In the interview, Ronaldo also reiterated who and what he thought made Real Madrid’s Undécima win possible.
He struggled to secure a regular place in Zinedine Zidane’s squad last season and has started all official games of this season on the bench. “I think everything improved with Zidane’s arrival”.
However, the Gunners’ push for more goal scoring before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month might come via Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, who reportedly is a target of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Following an impressive Euro 2016 campaign with Wales, the former Tottenham star started the new season in much the same way, netting a brace in the La Liga opener against Real Sociedad to lead his side to a comfortable 3-0 victory – despite the absence of Ronaldo.
The 31-year-old, who is now sidelined with a knee injury, scored 51 goals in all competitions and is a strong candidate to win the 2016 Ballon d’Or.
“It was long and tough season, but we fought hard and won what we wanted to win”.
“I see it as a privilege”.
“I’m honoured to be the only player that has been among the three finalists every single year”.
“And if it means I’ll win some individual award, great, but the team comes first”.
“It would be something very important for me”.
