Brooks told theMilwaukee Journal Sentinel “Here’s where the old guy gets into technology, which is bad”.

Brooks admits it’s a hard lesson to learn. And I know I should’ve backed up. “I know. But that’s like losing your briefcase back in the 90s”.

It seems that the “Friends In Low Places” star has lost all the music files he’s been working on in the past year. He says he’s still working on getting the songs back.

Brooks’ wife, Trisha Yearwood, tells the Journal Sentinel that the couple’s Christmas duets album is also not finished, and probably won’t see release until next Christmas. With more than 136 million albums sold, Brooks ranks as the top-selling solo artist in USA history – just ahead of Elvis Presley.
