Gary Johnson: ‘No chance’ Weld drops off ticket
As a protest to the leaders of both parties, I am going to vote for Gary Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld, the Libertarian candidates.

New research out of Stanford University shows that one-hundred percent of direct donations from individual members of the bi-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates have gone to the Clinton Campaign while the Trump Campaign has received nothing.
Specifically, Weld could “renounce his candidacy and go out and help Hillary Clinton”, Bernstein said. She didn’t attribute the reports.
The Libertarian party ticket is receiving 9% support nationally, according to CNN’s latest Poll of Polls.
The US Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Friday that Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein will not participate in the September 26 debate because they failed to garner the 15 percent support in five polls required to qualify for the debate.
We can get what we want from the people we choose to lead us.
Mike McCurry, a former press secretary for President Bill Clinton, told CNN’s Michael Smerconish that there’s no place for moderators with “strong opinions”.
Finally, the commission states that its mission is to “Ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners”.
“For a year now, the campaigns have known that they have to reach that 15% threshold”. Some thought it was too high. Johnson, who has acknowledged he has little chance of becoming president if he is not allowed to debate, has started a petition that collected more than 800,000 signatures urging the commission to include him. “We’re in this for the long haul”. Right now, he says, most voters don’t know who he is or what he stands for.

Johnson and Weld will receive a close-up on the most-watched news program in the country, CBS’s “60 Minutes”, on Sunday night. “Their only agenda is to kill each other”.
