Gary Johnson vows to keep fighting, sets sights on second debate
Journalist Carl Bernstein stirred speculation Sunday about Libertarian vice presidential nominee Bill Weld quitting the race if his candidacy was helping to fuel a Donald Trump win.

The former MA governor said talk of him ditching Johnson is “wishful thinking on the part of the two-party duopoly”.
The commission required that candidates register an average of 15 percent support in five recent polls the commission had selected.
Democrats are particularly anxious that young voters are gravitating to Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein over Clinton. How is excluding Johnson fulfilling this mission?
Johnson’s campaign criticized the process for being created to keep candidates outside the two major parties off of the debate stage.
Stein told CNN last week she would show up to the debate anyway with supporters to protest her exclusion.
“We’re going to alter the course of this election, whether or not we’re in the debates”, he said.
“No, Bill Weld is in this for the long haul and beyond my wildest dreams Bill Weld is my running mate”, Johnson said on CNN’s “New Day”. “No other candidates satisfied the criteria for inclusion in the September 26 and October 4 debates”.

“Americans are exhausted of rigged systems, and the monopoly on debates created by the CPD is a prime and skillfully executed example”, Johnson said.
