Gary Lineker presents Match of the Day in just his trousers
It seems Gary Lineker is a man of his word as he presented Match Of The Day in his underwear on the first show of the new season.

“If Gary Lineker presented #MOTD like this all season the football would be much more tolerable for me”, said one fan. “Zero chance. It happened but it was magical, it was great”.
Viewers were even more disappointed when Lineker got himself dressed during highlights of the second featured match of the show, Manchester City versus Sunderland.
Match of the Day Presenter and Leicester City supporter Gary Lineker has told BBC Sport that Leicester can not win the title without talisman N’Golo Kante.
“We have gone for two up front in the studio with Alan Shearer and Ian Wright having it all covered”.
Last December, when Leicester had surprisingly led the standings after narrowly avoiding relegation the previous season, Lineker tweeted “YES!”
Leicester is Lineker’s boyhood club, and he scored 94 goals in 194 matches for the Foxes. Lineker’s MOTD colleague Alan Shearer posted a message of support on his Instagram account Fellow BBC Sport presenter questioned whether Gary’s underwear counted as “pants’.as did former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan”.

They did, of course, meaning Lineker had to go for it.
