Theoretically, our gas prices should be approximately what Vancouver pays minus the 17 cents tax.

“As we enter the final stretch of the summer driving season, autumn still looks to bring a big drop in gasoline prices”. A decline in demand, refineries switching to winter-blend fuels and falling oil prices should cause a continued drop in price of gas. Joe area are averaging $2.87 according to Triple-A, while GasBuddy spotters put the average in South Haven much lower at $2.63. “Crude oil last week touched under $40 a barrel for the first time since the recession, and this week could bring prices that stay under that key level”.

The national average is $2.59 for a gallon of regular.
