GCSE results: Oxclose’s A* man Craig has designs on the future
CHARTERS School pupils achieved GCSE results well above the national average despite an overall national decline.

“Over 71 per cent of grades were at A* or A grade and 34.7 per cent were A*”.
To add to the already impressive school tally, more than two thirds of St Mary’s pupils achieved grades A*-B.
Amongst other top headlines 96 per cent of pupils received an A* to C in both Mathematics and English.
These are great results especially for 5 GCSEs with English and Maths – absolutely fabulous!
Linda Rodham, headteacher, said: “I would like to congratulate all of our students who are once again a credit to themselves and the school”.
Friends’, which will be known as Walden School from September, have reported that the grades this year have followed broadly the same lines as the last three years.

Lily Smith (16), of Holbeach, who got A*s for all 11 of her subjects, said: “I’m feeling fantastic although I can’t stop shaking and smiling”.
