Gears of War 4 will also use Unreal Engine 4, as discussed in the story, which has already carried a great number of interesting projects both completed and in development.

Major Nelson made a very big announcement earlier today when he revealed over on his blog that Gears of War 4 is officially scheduled to launch this Fall.
The sequel takes place 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 and the death of the Locust Queen.
This will be the first entry in the series since 2013 spin-off Gears Of War: Judgment, and the first since Microsoft bought the franchise from series creators Epic Games. Marcus, Dom, Damon and all the others have stepped to one side, with JD Fenix finding himself at the heart of a new generation of Gears of War heroes.

Gears of War 4 is now confirmed exclusively for the Xbox One.

Fergusson also mentioned that on The Game Informer Show, explaining to beta players what they can expect. The beta will be available to all Xbox One owners on April 25th.
