Gender politics playing a big role for Trump, Clinton
GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton actually doesn’t do a very good job with men who get “off the reservation” – a line Mrs. Clinton used in a recent interview when asked about Mr. Trump.

A campaign official said that aides wouldn’t be surprised if Vermont Sen.
But the underdogs in both parties made clear they had no plans to exit the race.
Last week, the campaign announced that it was shedding 225 staffers to “right-size” its personnel heading into the final nominating contests, including IN on Tuesday.
The tricky question, though, is if Mr Sanders is not the nominee, would he encourage his supporters to back Mrs Clinton?
“I believe I will stand by the person who has been standing by me and that’s where I want to be”, he said. With the delegate math overwhelmingly favoring Clinton, Sanders has the hard challenge of persuading the superdelegates, who are free to back any candidate, to “go into their hearts” and switch sides. Ted Cruz and 19% support Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
The Democratic race is very close in IN, but even if the Vermont senator does get a win, it likely won’t affect his surmounting delegate deficit against Clinton. But where the Texan is aiming for victory or bust, Sanders has a secondary goal that’s motivating him to stay in the race: influence over the Democratic Party’s future. “I think what this campaign is showing is that millions of people throughout this country are not happy with status quo politics and economics”.
“We are going to win”, Mr Trump told CNN.
Kelly Maer, who led the Clinton campaign’s efforts to put its delegate slate together for the primary, will continue serving informally as an authorized representative for New Jersey.
According to Sanders, he needs to win 65 percent of the remaining delegates in upcoming primaries to win the majority of pledged delegates.
Dan Durso started with the Bernie Sanders Connecticut Team last summer, the month after Sanders announced his candidacy. “They have represented America to the world with style and grace and it is up to us to make sure that when they leave the White House the concerns and priorities they champion, the hopes and dreams that Americans have entrusted to them, don’t also leave”. More say they would be dissatisfied or upset with Cruz (45%) or Kasich (39%) than say the same about Trump (33%). Clinton said later she was mistaken and that she’s committed to coalfield communities.
In any case, the Clinton campaign is not anxious even if Sanders does upset Clinton here. But until then, this isn’t a top Democratic target or a Republican worry. “If she were not a woman, she would not even be in this race”. I’m not going to get into that, ‘ Trump said, before host Chris Cuomo noted Trump had done just that.
“This is a movement that definitely lives on in one kind of structure or another”, said Dean, who lives in Fairfield.
“I do not deny it for a second”, he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Trump was already looking beyond Tuesday’s contest to a general election matchup with Mrs Clinton.

Mr. Sanders’ take, raised nearly entirely online, fell about $20 million short of the $46 million he posted in March.
