Former President George H.W. Bush said he will be voting for Hillary Clinton at a reception for the Points of Light Foundation in Kennebunkport, Maine, on Monday, a source told ABC News. “That’s what he said”, she told Politico.
Bush’s spokesman, Jim McGrath, says in a statement that the 92-year-old former president’s vote is private and Bush isn’t commenting on the race. Neither Bush nor his sons – including ex-president George W. Bush (2001-2009) and Jeb Bush, a former Florida governor and ex-2016 presidential hopeful – went to Trump’s nomination at the Republican National Convention in August.
While it appears that Bush has no plans to publicly announce which presidential candidate he’s going to vote, however he votes, he has a personal history with the Clintons. She later took down the Facebook post. While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe.
But George H.W. Bush isn’t speaking for his entire family.
Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush.
And Jeb Bush, Trump’s former primary rival, has said he won’t vote for Trump or Clinton.
A Kennedy has revealed a Bush supports a Clinton! Bush was seeking a second term as president after eight years as Ronald Reagan’s vice president. This, therefore, is a story which unites the three principal political dynasties of post-World War II U.S. history against a common foe: Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

But Bush supporting Clinton, the wife of the man who unseated him in 1993, denying him a second term, is a stunning development, but only one of many in what is turning out to be a historic presidential election like none other in recent times.
