George Clooney Agrees That His Hillary Clinton Fundraiser Was ‘Obscene’
Clooney was spotted Friday night at Clinton’s big-money fundraiser at the San Francisco home of a venture capitalist.

Chuck Todd asked actor George Clooney Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether he thinks the price of attending high-profile political fundraisers is “obscene”.
“You know we had some protesters last night when we pulled up in San Francisco and they’re right to protest”, he said.
Supporters of Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders rallied in Foley Square and then marched on Broadway to Union Square Park ahead of an afternoon of door-to-door campaigning ahead of the New York State Primary.
Mr Sanders said he appreciated Mr Clooney’s honesty, but that he was backing the wrong horse. “Sanders will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care”, according to a release from the Sanders campaign. Sanders supporters also threw dollar bills at the Clinton motorcade has it approached the Clooney residence over the weekend in apparent protest of her campaign event.
That means, to date, Clinton has 1,289 delegates from primaries and caucuses to Sanders’ 1,045. Do we have a government that represents all of us, or just the one per cent? Thursday’s FOX News poll said Sanders was trailing behind by only 2 points.
Sanders supporters’ criticism of Clinton’s ties to Wall Street, and the size and source of her campaign donations, has been fierce and constant.
Sanders said, “Those are the public polls, but the bottom line is let’s look at the real poll tomorrow”. She said he has received calls from people asking if he would consider switching to Sanders, but he said he hasn’t heard a compelling reason to do so. Instead of raising money with the sole intention of getting a specific candidate in office, Clooney says the majority of money raised will benefit Democratic candidates at all levels of office. “We think we have a path toward victory, and we’re going to fight for every single vote that’s out there”.

“Well, you kinda got me on that one”, Clooney responded. The actor laughed. “I said, ‘Well I met you sitting down'”.
