George Clooney Gets Kidnapped in Trailer For Coen Brothers’ ‘Hail, Caesar!’
The first trailer of actor George Clooney’s “Hail Caesar” has arrived. Either way, it’s already jumped to the top of my “Must See” list.

Mannix must gather together the on and off-screen big names of Capitol Pictures Studios to help. In the film, Clooney is an actor playing a local cop in the movie being made about recent high school killings. Gather $100,000 and await instructions. Here is a scene from the trailer where she sports a mermaid costume, starring in a musical within the movie. Sure, their films may always be a bit off-kilter, but that’s what makes them unique: in an age where everything is either a comic book movie or a remake of a few kind, finding something that’s truly different can be a Herculean task.

We’ve seen Channing Tatum strip down to his skivvies (and slightly less) and wrap himself around a pole before. We loved the hilarious line where an assistant comes over to inform Eddie saying, “Mr. Mannix, I know it sounds unusual but someone’s calling from the future!” “Wondering what’s going on?”. It revolves around a fixer, played by Brolin, who must find the kidnapped star of a big new movie, also called Hail, Caesar! Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand are thrown into the mix for good measure. He doesn’t show up in the trailer, but according to IMDb, there’s also a “submarine commander” played by Dolph Lundgren.
