George Lucas Has Seen The Force Awakens, Here’s What He Thought
For all the trailers, posters, and marketing material Disney has rolled out in anticipation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, they must be commended for keeping so much of the film’s actual premise under wraps.

It’s really cool to get a behind-the-scenes tour during The Force Awakens’ featurette, but the best part of the short clip is the air of excitement and commitment surrounding the entire team behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Lucas now joins many other people that have seen the film including numerous cast and crew as well as Steven Spielberg. “Fantastic visual storytelling.” As THR noted, we haven’t seen footage of the two characters actually fighting. The event will include appearances from Dave Prowse – the original actor beneath Darth Vader’s mask – and Michael Carter, who portrayed Jabba the Hut majordomo Bib Fortuna in Return of the Jedi.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be followed on December 16, 2016 by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: Episode VIII on May 26, 2017, and the Han Solo anthology movie on May 25, 2018. And it’s nice to hear Lucas enjoyed the movie, especially since Kennedy said he had a hard time “watching this go on without his direct involvement”. “All I’d do is make them miserable”.
This is what happens when you push Harrison Ford into Star Wars publicity hyperdrive: things go wrong. “I’d make myself miserable”, he explained.
I realize the internet and social media are good things. When asked what his favourite action scene from the new film was, Ford typed this… By then, all the hardcore and even most of the more than casual fans will have seen the movie and been able to enjoy it spoiler-free.
Disney is guarding details about the plot of “Force Awakens”.
