George Will: ‘This is not my party,’ switches from GOP to unaffiliated

The traditionally coveted gig as Republican National Convention speaker is drumming up little interest with career-conscious politicians wary of presumptive nominee Donald Trump, Politico reports. Paul Manafort said Trump is not all that involved in the race to organize an offensive against Democrat Hillary Clinton and catch up to her fundraising advantage. John McCain have said they wouldn’t go to the convention, as did both former Presidents Bush. Sen. They’re also reluctant to devote months to a divisive candidate whose campaign has been plagued by infighting and disorganization.

Many agree with George Will’s criticism of Donald Trump because of the large gaps in Trump’s knowledge of topics of utmost importance for a presidential candidate.

Will’s comments follow similar concessions by other prominent Republicans. “What would I tell my family?” “Republicans who are in responsible positions have endorsed Trump and are trying to make the best of a bad situation”. But hundreds of such aides have so far declined invitations to work for Trump.

As for Trump’s list of “winners” he plans on recruiting to replace the missing politicos, well, they’re not very interested either.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Trump can’t win the presidency unless he can compete with Clinton on the financial front. “I just mentioned this in a meeting with the Federalist Society”, Will said Sunday morning.

“I know we can respect the Second Amendment and make common-sense reforms”, she said. “We can fine you”, Correll told CBS News on Monday. That’s compared to Clinton’s paid presence of roughly 700, many of them well-versed in modern political strategy. While 51 percent of Americans overall found Trump’s statement that Curiel’s Hispanic heritage was “an absolute conflict” was “racist”, only 22 percent of Republicans agreed.

Even politicians from the convention host state of Ohio, Sen.

Joining the call Sunday was former New Hampshire Sen. Then, George Will and the other anti-Trump folk will say it’s Trump’s fault.

In the meantime, Trump’s new director in OH, political veteran Bob Paduchik, offered the kind of positive perspective expected of a campaign on the move. Said Carroll: “If I got a hypothetical question I probably wouldn’t answer it”.

Mr. Trump has responded to Mr.
