George Zimmerman Allegedly Punched in Face
According to the report, several minutes later the man walked over to Zimmerman and the pair scuffled, with the man, who has only been identified as Eddie, allegedly punching Zimmerman in the face and breaking his glasses before leaving the restaurant.

Zimmerman said the man told him to go away and accused him of “shooting George Zimmerman”, prompting the fight. According the tattooed man’s wife, Zimmerman walked up to the table and said, “Hey, I like your racist tattoos”.
According to Zimmerman’s statement to deputies, he wasn’t bragging about killing Martin – but people at the table asked him if he was Martin’s killer. They pushed and shoved one another, the Sentinel reported. Once he saw Zimmerman’s ID, he asked him to leave the table, Worrell said.
Zimmerman followed and killed Trayvon Martin while serving as a neighbourhood watch volunteer in a Sanford gated community.
More than a year ago, Matthew Apperson was arrested and accused of trying to kill Zimmerman during a road rage incident.
Zimmerman told dispatchers the man then punched him in the face.
It’s not the first time Zimmerman’s acquittal has made him a target. He was later found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter.
CNN reached out Thursday to Zimmerman but didn’t get an immediate response. He then asked them to send “three or four cops” to the scene to protect him.
Finally, Ed Winters, the owner of Gators Riverside, said the whole thing was “blown out of proportion”.
“Everywhere this guy goes he causes controversy”, Mr Winters told the Sentinel.

If the reason you’re in the public eye is for killing someone, you’d think it would be best to keep a low-ish profile. Noting the pistol as a “piece of American history”, a group of people who opposed the sale managed to raised the price to around $65 million on one auction site in hopes of getting the item pulled. The name of the man who allegedly punched Zimmerman had not been released, but witnesses said his name was Eddie.
