George Zimmerman sells gun used to kill Trayvon Martin for almost $140000
Responding to criticism about auctioning his 9mm pistol online, Mr. Zimmerman defended the sale saying, “If it was a stick or mace, it’s the one tool I had that prevented Trayvon from killing me”.

Zimmerman recently made news after he attempted to sell the gun he used to kill Trayvon on February 26, 2012.
Whether the $138,900 bid was the victor is unclear, as there were two auctions running simultaneously, one for pre-qualified bidders and one for the general public, according to United Gun Group.
Zimmerman does little more in the interview than provide further evidence to believe that he is evil incarnate, and it comes only a handful of days after he commenced an auction for the gun he used to kill Martin.
There, in a statement addressed to “fellow patriots”, Zimmerman said the auction was successful and had raised funds for worthy causes. “He attacked a complete stranger and tried to kill him”, Zimmerman said.
While everyone is entitled to their own sense of recollection, Zimmerman’s account of the events that led to Martin’s death don’t match up with the timeline that was approved for court.
Zimmerman took shots at GunBroker in his post-auction statement, calling the site GunJoker and “Nazi loving liberal liars”.
George Zimmerman denounced Trayvon Martin’s parents in the interview, saying “They didn’t raise their son right”. “However, I’m not afforded that luxury anymore”, he said.
“George Zimmerman has informed United Gun Group that he now is in the process of vetting several offers and verifying funds”, the statement said.
Zimmerman has said some of the proceeds from the sale would go toward opposing the Black Lives Matter movement as well as Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Before the auction closed, Todd Underwood, who runs the site, commented that despite internet trolls driving up the price, the auction might have helped Zimmerman find a real buyer.

“I would have to do a lot of homework before I decide to endorse him”, Zimmerman told the Daily Beast.
