Georgia Bulldogs vs. Mississippi Rebels: 3 Things To Watch
“They came out and dominated from the start of the game”, Smart said, via the Bulldogs’ team website.

Eurgene Brazley scored on a 5-yard touchdown off a shovel pass from Jason Pellerin and and Kelly scored on a 41-yard touchdown run off the read option. As good as their defense is suppose to be, I don’t know if they have to ability to contain the Ole Miss offense when it is moving at “Talladega” speed. While the spread of these two teams may seem big, the overall statistics of these two teams are pretty much matched outside of their win/loss ratio.
Evan Engram has witnessed Ole Miss develop big leads only to see it all unravel.
Kelly led the Rebels right back down the field and answered with a handsome pass between two defenders to Stringfellow down to the Alabama one-yard line.
Ole Miss snapped a 10-game losing streak to Georgia.
In a game that kicked off at 11 a.m. CT, the Rebels and quarterback Chad Kelly had just about put this one away by just after noon local time. Saturday was a reality check for Kirby Smart’s first season.
The most troubling thing for the Dawgs was Nick Chubb going down in the second quarter with an ankle injury from which he did not return.
It was an impressive win for the Rebels, who have played some of their worst football this season after gaining big leads. However, let’s not forget that those two losses came two then No. 2 Florida State and No. 1 Alabama.
“I thought early on in the short yardage he did a good job running”, Freeze said. Kelly has three or more touchdown passes in four straight games. The senior is having a breakout year for the Rebels and leads the team with 20 catches for 302 yards and two touchdowns.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, has struggled to stop the run. Defensive back Derrick Jones picked off Eason and scampered 52 yards for the touchdown to take a 10-0 lead. “We’ve just got to play with our heads up”.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – De’Veon Smith led an overwhelming ground game with 107 yards rushing and a touchdown and Karan Higdon ran for two scores for MI in the Big Ten opener for both teams.
Quarterback Jacob Eason has a bright future ahead of him, but he looked like a first-year player on the road, completing just 44 percent of his passes at 3.8 yards per attempt. The bad news for Rosen is he doesn’t have a whole lot around him.
“You know what, Malkom’s a competitor”, Smart said.
Sep 24, 2016; Oxford, MS, USA; Mississippi Rebels quarterback Jason Pellerin (7) runs the ball during the third quarter of the game against the Georgia Bulldogs at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
On a first and 10 from the Ole Miss 45-yard line, Kelly pulls the ball back on a run-pass option before running to his right.
Against Georgia, there were no such problems.
But again, the Rebel’s strength will remain on the offensive side of the ball with Chad Kelly. It’s as if they play with the fast-forward button stuck.
The Bulldogs will look to turn it around next week and still control their own future in the SEC East with five consecutive SEC East opponents over the next six weeks on their schedule. Ole Miss needs Alabama to stumble twice to regain true traction in the SEC West race, but Kelly and Co. could torment the defenses of Arkansas, LSU and Texas A&M.
Georgia returns home next Saturday to take on Tennessee for their second home game of the season.

Ole Miss, meanwhile, made a statement that it shouldn’t be completely counted out, even if the loss to Alabama makes it unlikely that it can win the division.
