Germany: 4 presumed dead after floods in southwest

In Weissbach a man died when an underground garage was flooded.
One of those killed was a 13-year-old girl who was hit by a train on Sunday while seeking shelter from the rains under a railway bridge.
Separately, a 60-year-old man drowned in a Weissbach underground auto park after it filled with rainwater, according to Reuters.
Much of Germany and Europe experienced heavy rainstorms over the weekend.
The regional authorities in the southern state of Baden-Wuerttemberg put the number of injured at below 10.
The state of Baden-Württemberg is in shock after Sunday night’s deluge.
Dozens of vehicles were reportedly submerged while stranded motorists had to be rescued by emergency services across the region, Deutsche Welle reported.
Hundreds of cellars have been flooded and mudslides have blocked several roads.
The German news agency DPA said that a river brokes its banks in Braunsbach, destroying one house and damaging several others.
Videos and photos posted on social media showed cars being carried away by the current.
The spokeswoman couldn’t say when production would resume or how many workers were affected by the disruptions.
