Mumbai: Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s magical romance in the song “Gerua ” from their upcoming release “Dilwale” has made filmmaker Karan Johar nostalgic. So it was no surprise when Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale released its first romantic song Gerua starring King Khan and the Bong beauty everyone was left mesmerised.

Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Farah Khan’s friendship is as good as two decades old and the trio are often seen indulging themselves in a few quirky leg pulling. The music is given by Pritam Chakraborty and is sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra. The lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The movie directed by Rohit Shetty is slated to hit screens by December 18. “That song Suraj Hua Madham we shot in the hot climate, in egypt, while this song gerua we shot in cold temperature in iceland. i think it is about expression of love”. Apart from locations, much has been spent on the visual effect and VFX on the song. Sources say that Rohit Shetty aimed to erase all the memories that audience cherished about the romantic couple with many romantic songs with Gerua. Shooting for the song was extremely hard. We have done many lovely songs and are really fortunate to have done those. He paid attention to every detail starting from the choice of location, costumes and every other technicality because it was essential to him.
