GfK Poll: Candidates disliked, viewed as dishonest

The distinction may matter little to voters, but helps Cruz to save face among his loyal supporters still unwilling to forgive Trump’s attacks on the Texas senator’s wife and father during their ugly and often intensely personal primary campaign. The Landmark/Rosetta Stone poll conducted exclusively for Channel 2 Action News shows Trump with a almost 4 point lead over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Clinton supporters point out she is now advertising in Georgia and they are mobilizing a grassroots campaign. Trump received 46.5 percent, Clinton received 42.9 percent and Libertarian Gary Johnson received 5.7 percent of the vote.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Clinton, McClatchy has Clinton leading 48%-41%.
