GfK poll shows which candidate voters trust on top issues
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign is launching a new television ad in Florida, and a handful of other battleground states, that spotlights some of Donald Trump’s negative remarks about women.

The poll numbers come Thursday as part of Quinnipiac’s Swing State Poll.
“But a lot of people will be watching to see if that’s true”, he said. Between 11 July and 11 September, the top assocation was “email” – with a one-week exception during the Democratic convention. He’s already primed the pump in his message to black voters: What the hell do you have to lose by trying something different at this point? “Now, the race has tightened considerably”.
After August, during which Clinton was posting at times double-digit national leads over Trump, the Republican nominee has closed the gap considerably and most surveys show a tight single-digit gap.
Clinton aides said she is preparing for two scenarios: One in which Mr Trump is measured and serious, and another in which he is freewheeling and makes inflammatory personal attacks.
Here, Clinton has the advantage with African American voters (81 percent to 7 percent), women (51 percent to 37 percent) and those ages 18-34 (50 percent to 34 percent), while Trump is ahead among men (46 percent to 44 percent) and whites (49 percent to 41 percent).
She also addressed the perception that interviewers tend generally to go softer on Mr Trump, who is a political novice, than on Ms Clinton. “Democrats have single digit leads in the races for U.S. Senate and Governor, but you can’t get any tighter than tied between Trump and Clinton”.
Clinton still claims the support of 88 percent of Democrats, while Trump is backed by 81 percent of Republicans (81%).
In a portion of the video conference not being circulated, Clinton allegedly told her union backers to “stage an intervention” for anyone they know who is voting for Trump, according to The Washington Post.
Hillary’s counterargument is equally straightforward, though, thanks to Trump’s own weaknesses: “No change – or insane change?”
Meanwhile, a day after proposing “stop and frisk” as a policing strategy to stop violence, Trump walked it back, saying he was mainly speaking about Chicago. FiveThirtyEight forecast on August 10th that Hillary Clinton had an 85.2 percent chance of winning the election, but now that number has dropped to 58.8 percent. Independents are the largest voting block in Iowa.
