It has been reported that the massive swordfish was initially spotted by a couple who were at that time on the beach walking with their dog.
They explained that they saw the fish washed out of water, and was trying to get back into. They initially thought that it was a shark or dolphin. But going little near, they realized that it was swordfish.
Nicola Hills, 39, said to her husband to help the fish so that it could again get into the water.
Her husband tried a lot almost for two hours to get it to the float but it was too late.
Later an expert said that the fish had traveled more than 1,500 miles to Severn Beach on the mouth of the River Severn in South Gloucestershire – all the way from the Mediterranean.
