Giants dancing after 20-19 win over Cowboys
The Cowboys needed improvement in three key areas this offseason.

The Giants are coming off a confidence bolstering win against a hated divisional rival, and they are facing a saints team that seems to enjoy burying themselves in a hole these past few years.
But it wasn’t meant to be as the Giants rallied for a 20-19 victory.
Casillas said the Giants did nothing right in the loss to the Saints in New Orleans last season.
It’s a strong stance for Prescott to take, because Bryant can be a boisterous figure on the Cowboys sidelines.
You waited nine months for this. You feel offensively you can score most times you get it and you feel you have to score most times you get it.
In a game that was dominated by the Dallas Cowboys as far as time-of-possession, the Giants were able to pull through on the back of quarterback Eli Manning who threw for three touchdown passes. The die was cast long before that final drive.
I feel that Prescott played good for his National Football League debut.
A theme this week has been that the Cowboys need to get Bryant more involved in the offense.
Start with red-zone offense. Dallas had no timeouts left, and time expired.
The Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of starting the season 0-2 and digging their own grave if they can not get a win on the road in Washington this weekend. The Giants scored 20 points in the red zone and were a ideal three-for-three on their attempts.
The push and pull of offensive success is based on a team making enough plays in the passing game to back defenses off or running the ball effectively enough to force a defense to use an extra defender. That included the drop by Cole Beasley on the first drive of the game that, if caught, most likely would have been a touchdown. As they chipped their way down to the Giants 40-yard line, Cowboys wideout Terrance Williams didn’t have the presence of mind to run out of bounds after a 14-yard catch to stop the game clock.
On the Giants’ third offensive drive, Eli Manning came out firing and NY took the lead by just four points.
“No comment. LOL”, Bryant said as he walked away laughing.
“You just couldn’t make up a story any better than that”. But look a little closer and it’s not something to get too excited about. He’s held down the fort since 2006, but injuries have kept him from leading the Cowboys to reaching even the NFC Championship game. He returned and had a sack in the second half. The other came from cornerback Orlando Scandrick.

Hope could be on the horizon for Cowboys fans, though. Yes, the Cowboys are without DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory.
