As she was making her way to a auto with her younger model sister Bella, a man believed to be prankster Vitalii Sediuk, picked her up from behind, giving her a huge fright, and she then had to fight him off, reports Daily Mail.
Many fans and supporters from the entertainment industry have been reaching out to Hadid with lots of love and well wishes – and some particularly foolish ones have been asking her about her boyfriend Zayn Malik’s response to the whole thing.
Following yesterday’s high-profile stunt – which saw Hadid attempt to defend herself by elbowing Sediuk in the face – Sediuk left the scene immediately, despite Hadid’s attempts to stop him. Pictures show her at the vehicle with Bella and pointing as she talks to a security guard, as if to gesture where the man went.
Take a look at what happened… “I had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself”, she wrote. How dare that idiot thinks (sic) he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. “Thank you all so much for ur support”, she tweeted, adding, “Thanked my boxing coach today”. “He ran quick tho”, she said, adding a fist emoji.
The American model wrote: “THANK YOU Rachel”.
However, Gigi also hinted on Twitter that had Zayn Malik been there, the attacker may not have been able to walk away at all! Gigi replied: “That guy should prob take some time away from icing his jaw tonight to count his lucky stars that Z wasn’t there”.
Thank goodness Gigi was okay after the shocking incident.
Gigiexpressed that she’s not going to fire her MFW security team for (obviously) being lax during the incident.
That could have gone horribly differently had the “prankster” been someone with violent intent.
