As we can see in the pics and video, Gigi Hadid is making her way to her auto with her sister Bella when a guy in a brown hat grabs her from behind and lifts her off the ground.

Gigi, 21, took to Twitter to comment on her response to the unprovoked incident, defending herself after another user posted a screengrab of a news report and suggested an alternative headline. “How dare that idiot think he has a right to man handle a complete stranger”. He ran quick tho.’ (sic). Elbowing her attacker in the face was a perfectly reasonable way for Gigi to react.
It’s a good thing that Gigi Hadid’s favorite workout is kickboxing because her moves sure came in handy on Wednesday.
Gigi also later thanked her boxing coach for giving her the skills needed to defend herself in the situation, tweeting, “Thanked my boxing coach today”.
Sediuk, a former Ukranian television reporter, confirmed that he had lifted Hadid off the ground outside a Milan Fashion Week venue, Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, saying it was a form of protest against the use of celebrity models.
