Victoria’s Secret model Gigi Hadid has been blackmailed by hackers claiming to have photos and videos stolen from her iCloud account, it has been claimed.
According to the gossip site TMZ, the newly minted Victoria’s Secret Angel has been contacted by the perpetrators responsible for the breach who threatened to release the content of her device unless she pays up.
Previous year Jennifer Lawrence and countless more stars fell victim to hackers who leaked naked photos online, and it appears Gigi is the latest star to be hit with the threats.
Instead, the 20-year-old has the police and a private security firm trying to find the hackers. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. All I know is that we’ve got to develop harsher punishments for the people who commit these kinds of crimes.
