(Cleveland) – The name of Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is changing, and will be called JACK Casino Cleveland in May. This is part of an overall rebranding effort through OH and MI under the umbrella Jack Entertainment LLC. The Detroit-based company announced back in November that it would be taking over operations of Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati and ThistleDown Racino from Caesars Entertainment.
Matt Cullen, CEO of Jack Entertainment, said they’re not at all trying to distance themselves from Greektown.
Cullen says the Jack name will also be on Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky, the Thistledown Racino in Cuyahoga County, and the Greektown Casino in Detroit.
Rock Gaming has exercised its option to assume the day-to-day operational management of Horseshoe Cleveland and ThistleDown Racino.
Rock Gaming bought Greektown Casino in 2013.
A “Club Jack” rewards and points system will be introduced that will be common throughout each of the properties.

According to the Detroit News, Gilbert’s company will spend million in the rebranding.
