‘Gilmore Girls’ reunion in the works at Netflix
Netflix never seems to disappoint us these days and they definitely made many people happy yesterday, as it was reported that Gilmore Girls would be getting a revival and new episodes are coming to Netflix!

Netflix has yet to officially confirm that a Gilmore Girls revival is moving ahead. The Netflix revival could, in theory, give her a chance to fix that, though whether she’ll start from where the show’s final season ended or just go back to where she ended things is anyone’s guess. Stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bleidel, as well as Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) and Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) are also expected to be among those who will return, though many others are likely. Neither Warner Bros. nor Netflix has confirmed the reports. The Warner Bros. dramedy has performed very well on Netflix thus far.
While the show originally had a seven-series run, fans were disappointed when the Palladinos were unable to come to a deal with the show’s network after the sixth season.
According to a number of entertainment publications in the United States, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will be returning to play the parts of their original characters, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.
The Hollywood Reporter does point out that Melissa McCarthy may not be returning due to her film career now moving forward after her performances in “The Heat” and her upcoming appearance in the rebooted “Ghostbusters” film. All three of Rory’s boyfriends are also set to appear for the reunion-perhaps finally settling, once and for all, whether she’s on team Dean, Logan, or Jess.
“There’s no way I’m going to top this experience, this cast, these leading ladies here”, she said.
Amy has since admitted that it wasn’t the ending she’d hoped for and, of course, it didn’t feature the final four words she’d planned on since the show began.

“It would have to be the right everything-the right format, the right timing”, she said this summer at the ATX TV Festival.
