‘Gilmore Girls’ to be revived by Netflix
Netflix said original cast members Kelly Bishop (who played Emily Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason) and Keiko Agena (Lane Kim) will also return to the as-yet-untitled revival. According to Slate, those terms better include finding a “worthy partner” for Rory, as her boyfriends throughout the series were “all intolerable in their own right” and “displayed varying degrees of awfulness”.

“Gilmore Girls” will debut on Netflix some time in 2016.
During the Television Critics Association winter press tour earlier this month, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos revealed, “I can’t tell you much about ‘Gilmore Girls.’ We’re still working on buttoning down everything before our announcements”.
To celebrate the news, Graham posted on Twitter, giving fans even more reason to love Netflix.
Graham followed Gilmore Girls with a starring role on another well received, long-running drama-comedy, Parenthood, while Bledel has done mostly features, including The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants franchise.
Graham shared her excitement on Twitter with a selfie captioned, “It’s time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work”. While it seems Lauren has been kept busy, it seems she’s eager to return to her old Gilmore Girls family, where tears and laughs are sure to greet her, as she reconnects with her former co-stars.
This is extremely good news for fans who feel like they didn’t get the closure they needed when the series ended in their seventh season.
The four-episode revival will begin filming in Los Angeles on February 2. Four 90-minute installments have been ordered, which each one of them focusing on a different season.
