Over the past few days, multiple sources were pointing to Indiana Governor Mike Pence as Donald Trump’s potential running mate, but there wasn’t any sign from the businessman that he actually wants him as his VP.

Indiana Republicans are betting that their state’s governor will become Donald Trump’s runningmate.

Though campaigning for re-election on Thursday night at the fair, Pence was faced with questions about the possibility of joining Trump, in addition to questions about why he is now backing Trump for President and how backing the Trump campaign will be beneficial to Indiana.
