Gingrich: Expects to hear from Trump soon

Here come CNN’s Dana Bash and Dylan Byers with an authentic media-oriented exclusive: Newt Gingrich, a vice-presidential short-lister for Donald Trump’s campaign, flew out to Indianapolis on a private jet furnished by Fox News host Sean Hannity, the CNNers report.

On Tuesday, Fox News, which hired Gingrich as a contributor, suspended its ties with him as he moved up the list of possible Trump running mates.

See? It says “Fox News”, not “Fox Corrupt and Conflicted Talk Shows”. Gingrich, the fiery Republican who helped define the political battles of the 1990s, told The Associated Press that Trump was supposed to let him know something in the afternoon.

“If he and his team understand this”, Gingrich said, “I suspect they will evolve rapidly”.
