Georgia May Foote says Laura Whitmore is a “beautiful person” and insisted there is no rivalry between them after Laura was paired with her ex boyfriend on “Strictly Come Dancing”.
Georgia May Foote wants everyone to know that she’s not anxious about her ex Giovanni Pernice’s new Strictly Come Dancing partner.
With the return of Strictly last Saturday night, Giovanni was paired with Irish beauty Laura Whitmore and with couples getting notoriously close on the show, the pairing didn’t go unnoticed.
The former Coronation Street actress, who is now following in Pixie Lott’s footsteps and starring in Tiffany’s, announced the split on Twitter last month.
Luckily for Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice, they’re doing just fine – and Georgia actually took the time to publicly message him on his birthday!
However last weekend saw Georgia announce they were no longer seeing one another, tweeting: “It is with great sadness we have made a decision to split up”.
Georgia and Givovanni’s split was confirmed on Twitter in August with busy work schedules to blame.
The star later added, “Nothing I ever said about my feelings to Gio were fake before people start”.
Her comments come after reports that she’s anxious that Giovanni, 25 and Laura, 31, will couple up as she’s still struggling to get over him.
“Georgia knows just how intimately couples have to dance and is terrified that Giovanni might hook up with Laura”, a source told The Sun.

And it’s even worse for Georgia because she and Laura are close friends.
