However, the second half featured three additional goals for the Reds, beginning with a free-kick from Giovinco that rattled off the post and into the back of the net in the 56th minute of play.In its second match in five days, Orlando City South Carolina (7-10-6, 27 points) fell to Toronto FC (9-8-4, 31 points) 4-1 at BMO Field on Wednesday night.

Head coach, Greg Vanney will still have the Atomic Ant at his disposal though, with Sebastian Giovinco taken out at halftime on the weekend, to ensure he is fit for the clash against Orlando.
TFC keeper Joe Bendik once again bailed out his team in the early going with two big stops on Cyle Larin after some sloppy defending by Damien Perquis.
“Giovinco you are dirty for that one”, tweeted Kamara.
Sebastian Giovinco converted a 12th minute penalty with Luke Boden equalizing for Orlando City in the 17th.
With 10 assists, Giovinco has been directly involved in 26 of Toronto’s 36 goals this season.
In the 88th minute, Giovinco beat Hall with a low angled shot after a long seeing-eye pass from Benoit Cheyrou, prompting the crowd of 26,648 to chant “MVP, MVP”. It marked the Italian’s second hat trick of the season.
Using its width to great effect, Toronto began to get the better of play and had chances to go ahead in the first half. “I am happy to score on a free kick today because it has been a lot of games since I last scored a free kick goal”.
After just 21 games in the league, Giovinco now is tied with Chad Barrett for third place on Toronto’s all-time scoring list. Five minutes later he was flying though the air, courtesy of a challenge from behind by Orlando centre back Seb Hall, who was booked on the play.

Larin got little service on the night. The New England Revolution ended Toronto’s three game unbeaten streak in a 3-1 effort. And he stands second in Toronto all-time multi-goal games (with four) and second in all-time game-winning goals (five).
