Girl On The Train star Emily Blunt speaks out against ‘mummy cult’
The duo, who star alongside each other in the big screen adaptation of Paula Hawkins” novel, embraced as they made their way onto the “railway line’ for the United Kingdom premiere.

“I found a way to detach from the day – I had a long vehicle ride home and would try to meditate on the way”, she said of the December shoot in NY.
Evans – who looked equally as eye catching in a navy suit – joined Blunt as they posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans.
Her co-star Haley Bennett went for a regal floor-length golden gown with a train…
British-American actress Blunt stars as recent divorcee Rachel Watson, who is infatuated by the seemingly-perfect couple she sees daily through her train window.
Rachel has been through fertility treatment and is in mourning for the pregnancy that never happened, while Megan Hipwell (Haley Bennett) – one half of that flawless couple – does not want a baby at all.
Emily’s casting as Watson proved problematic for critics who argued that the actress was too pretty to play an overweight alcoholic.
As the novel and film touch on aspects of motherhood, Blunt – donning a bejeweled, floral Alexander McQueen gown – ironically shot the adaptation of the Paula Hawkins bestseller while still pregnant with her second child.
“Everybody moans about, “Oh, she’s too attractive to play Rachel”, and she is (too beautiful)”. It makes women feel that they have to be a bit defensive about the choices they make – whether they want to be a mother or whether they don’t, whether they want to breastfeed or whether they don’t.
