Giuliani Accused of Forgetting About 9/11
“In the context in which I said it, where I explained the two prior attacks, including the attack during the Bush administration, of course I do”, Giuliani said.

Trump spokesman Jason Miller said Giuliani was referring to the period of time following the 9/11 terror attacks and before Obama was sworn into office.
Giuliani, a Republican, appeared to be saying that no radical Islamic terrorism happened under President George W. Bush, also a Republican.
Giuliani spent a lot of time bashing Clinton, Trump’s main opponent in the race for president who has been dogged by scandals surrounding her email use, her family’s foundation and her track record as secretary of state.
First, Rudy was the mayor of New York City DURING the horrific 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
It was just the latest bit of creative history from the Trump campaign. They figure that the facts and history don’t favor their candidate so they might as well discard the whole thing and start fresh with their own narrative?
However, we can’t help but wonder… if that was actually the case, why didn’t Mr. Giuliani just say that?
Giuliani’s 9/11 omission, however, was the former mayor’s most glaring gaffe – and it didn’t go unnoticed by outraged survivors of the devastating attacks that killed almost 3,000 people and wounded more than 6,000 others. “We don’t want this war”. And they didn’t start it even in 2001. Obama took office on January 20, 2009, leading many outlets to point out that the eight years prior included the 9/11 attacks.
“You know better than I do what a great governor he is of your state”, Giuliani said to the OH crowd. It overshadowed yet another factual gaff: he claimed Mike Pence was governor of OH (he’s not – that’s former GOP presidential hopeful John Kasich; Mike Pence is governor of Indiana).
Giuliani has been a steady supporter of Donald Trump.
