Give me just five years, I will fix Punjab: Amarinder
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday appealed to the central government to thoroughly investigate funding received by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leaders, alleging that radicals from Punjab had aligned themselves with Arvind Kejriwal’s outfit. Shergill asked, while adding that the AAP volunteers believe that Sukhbir was actually planning to get AAP leaders, including Kejriwal, eliminated.

During the “Halke Vich Captain” programme, more than 4000 people submitted 2873 complaints among which over 60 per cent pertained to “fake FIRs”, a party spokesman said. He also referred to the past attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s convoy in Ludhiana.
Hoshiarpur: Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh today accused chief minister Parkash Singh Badal of “trying to polarise people” along communal lines for “political gains”, and said his party will not let this happen as the state can not afford “another dark era”. “What is the objective of the Delhi Chief Minister meeting radical groups of Punjab?” said Badal, who is Punjab’s Home Minister.
“It can not be ruled out that under the garb of ISI threat, Sukhbir may conspire for fierce and deadly attacks on AAP leaders in Punjab”, Shergil alleged.
In order to provide efficient and transparent governance to the people at their doorsteps, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today inaugurated the state’s first “Sewa Kendra” where people will be able to avail 243 services under one roof.
CM Badal also said the state still has not found any evidence about foreign hands in the last year’s sacrilege cases, including the Baragari (Faridkot) incident.
Shergill said this in the wake of “assured humiliating defeat” of SAD-BJP in the upcoming assembly polls, Sukhbir Badal may create disturbance in the state by conspiring attacks on the AAP leaders, as the party has emerged as a serious political challenge for Akalis. “We have conveyed this to the Union Home Minister and the National Security Adviser a month back”, Sukhbir said.
“Our police is doing its job in the best way possible”.

Deputy Chief Minister said that investigations into Gagneja case was on advanced stage and culprits would be soon put behind the bars. He said Punjab police had cracked all the cases “in no time” but being “sensitive” in nature, the Mata Chand Kaur and Bargari sacrilege cases were taking some time.
