The Frenchman’s own children are among those part of the case against the European champions.

The coach was also asked about the decision confirmed by Federation Internationale de Football Association to ratify the transfer ban imposed on Real and Atletico Madrid for irregularities involving foreign players in their youth system, including his own sons.

“I don’t understand the ban”, Zidane said.

However, the French manager also confirmed that Real Madrid will be missing the services of a number of players who have just returned to the club following their exploits during the global break.

“I can talk about my (sons) that have been born and lived their whole lives here”.

Zidane is, however, concerned at how the ban will affect the youth section of Real.

“I’m happy to see that all the players are well after the worldwide break”.

On the field, Zidane can continue his incredible first year as a senior coach as having lifted the Champions League in May, Real can match a club record of 15 consecutive La Liga wins at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday. “If we have to have the same team for two or three years, it’s not a problem”.

“Cristiano is very happy to be with us”, Zidane said. “He is back from his injury and we are all happy, although he have to give him time, but he will be back tomorrow and he will play”, commented the coach.

Zidane’s primary focus is on Saturday’s home game against Osasuna and the expected return of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema from injury. He is an important player for us and I always want him with me.
