GM teases 2017 Buick LaCrosse ahead of LA debut
There’s a completely redesigned Buick LaCrosse sedan coming up for 2017, and GM today gave us a preview ahead of the official premiere at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

If the grill is, in fact, an indication of the rest of the vehicle, which is set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, then it’s safe to say the 2017 LaCrosse is looking to compete with fellow affordable, full-size luxury sedans that have already shown flashier designs for the coming model year. A large aperture features darkened horizontal accents, with a large horizontal chrome strip that links to the top of the headlights. The dark teaser shot published by the General Motors-owned firm hints that the LaCrosse will boast an elegant-looking grille with vertical slats and a colored rendition of Buick’s shield emblem positioned in the middle of a single horizontal slat.
This new face should be on all Buick models before 2018.
“The Avenir concept shattered expectations of what a Buick could be and the 2017 LaCrosse promises to do the same”, said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. The new grille has straightened edges, and the outline is more hexagonal.
The Avenir influence will fade beyond the front fascia, and the new LaCrosse’s silhouette will be characterized by a gently sloping roof line, muscular haunches as well as a small spoiler built into the trunk lid.
Unfortunately, these are all the details Buick had for us.

Buick also promises a stonger yet lighter chasis for a more “dynamic driving experience” than the line’s older models.
