Goats Stolen Using Duct Tape
This present piece of news would make anyone who owns goats wary of duct tapes. Also, it might give those planning to steal goats a really unique idea to carry out the theft. Reportedly, in Honolulu 20 goats were stolen in the death of the night and the thief managed to get away with it by using duct tape to prevent the animals from making any noise. The total goats missing have been valued at $10,000. The modus operandi came to light due to the fact that two bucks were left behind with their mouths duct taped.

Keal Pontin the 23-year old owner of the goats expressed his dismay over the whole affair. He is especially angered by the fact that most of the goats stolen were pregnant and the thief endangered the life of the unborn animals through his actions. Expressing his anguish about the stolen pregnant goats Pontin was quoted as saying: “”If you think about it, they’re taking nannies with babies in them and throwing them over a 6-foot-tall fence. Just thinking of our pregnant goats going over a fence like that is just sickening to us.”
Chances are that the thief wasn’t even aware the goats were pregnant, when he had planned the whole thing and it must have been quite an ordeal for those poor pregnant goats, the way they were stolen. Pontin is pretty confident that the whole thing was preplanned and the thief surely had help as it would have been impossible for him to pull this whole thing off only by himself. Of all the goats stolen, 6 were pets that Pontin and his friends had raised right from the time the goats were born. One of the missing goats named Kiwi had in fact become like a part of Pontin’s family.

Pontin has naturally contacted the police in the hope that they would be able to find his beloved goats. In fact, he is even willing to give a reward to anyone who finds his goats. He hasn’t revealed as to what the reward amount would be. The police are carrying out a thorough investigation and in the meantime a distraught Pontin is hoping he gets his goats back, so life can go back to the way it was for him earlier.
