“I feel very privileged to have joined the Star Wars doll universe”, Jones said, waving the figure in the air.
The third DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will be dedicated to the legendary Death Star, this is the name of the expansion, it will put in the shoes of the rebels, with the goal of destroying the Empire’s flagship Galactic. She is referring to the bit of footage that sort of burst through the flickering A New Hope credits crawl to reveal the title for Rogue One.
As part of this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration taking place in Europe, Electronic Arts took to the stage to discuss the future of Star Wars Battlefront DLC.
A little less exciting is the poster that was also released today at the fan convention, which looks like some cheap fan art. Come on, Disney!
The panel began with the host Gwendoline Christie, who played Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, making reference to Thursday’s terror attack in Nice. Coinciding with the launch of the film, the final expansion will adapt elements from Rogue One, the first in many Star Wars spin-off stories.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said Rogue One was going to be an “incredibly immersive experience”.
In June, Kennedy also addressed the possibility of doing away with the opening crawl for Rogue One.
