Gold Coast robbery ‘hero’ was more anxious about broken thong

AUSTRALIA’S favourite shirtless and shoeless heroes who foiled a Gold Coast robbery have wowed their adoring fans once again by giving more detail about their escapades. He and his friend Kane Wiblen saw two men jump out of a white Commodore with no numberplates and allegedly break into a restaurant in the fast food chain.

But they really lost it when Ross-Munro revealed he’d busted his “plugga” (thong) on the weekend when stopping the suspect.

But then, they also did what very few people would do: they ran to the getaway auto, took the keys, and then had a confrontation with the would-be criminals.

Next it seems as if Ross-Munro notices a worker in a nearby store, and tells them to call the cops, however, the robbers then emerge from the store and attempt to get away. “Better go and check it out”, he said.

Mr Wiblen uploaded the footage to Facebook, along with the caption: “Interesting night to say the least!”

Tim Gilbert, another host on the show, told Mr Ross-Monroe that he looked reasonably fit and asked whether he went to the gym to which Mr Ross-Munroe said: ‘Mate I don’t go to the gym. “The only gym I go to is Jim Beam”.

The Gold Coast Bulletin said that police confirmed the robbery. The other gets into the passenger side while Mr Ross-Munro enters the driver side, where an altercation occurs, according to Mr Ross-Munro’s Facebook post.

“You’re shittin’ me”, says Wiblen, as he follows Ross-Munroe, who had started marching determinedly over to the vehicle, his one thong squelching over the pavement.

Police eventually arrived and now have one man in custody, however they are still looking for additional information.
