Golden Globes 2016: Lady Gaga wins for American Horror Story: Hotel

Gaga won her first-ever Golden Globe for her turn as the Countess in “American Horror Story: Hotel”.

“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley movie Moonstruck”. Now that her acting career has definitely taken off, maybe one day she and Leo will come together again on camera!

Gaga was up against a number of strong performances, including Kirsten Dunst in the most recent season of the (fabulous) Fargo, Sarah Hay in Flesh & Bone, and Felicity Huffman in American Crime.

The actor quickly moved out of her way and was obviously surprised to be in her way, but Lady Gaga may not have even realized she hit him.

She proceeded to thank Ryan Murphy and her co-stars including Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett and Chloe Sevigny, before adding: “I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer, but music worked out first”. “And you allow that”.

Although Gaga didn’t thank her fiancé Taylor Kinney specifically, she did acknowledge her family throughout her acceptance speech.
