Golden State Forces A Game 7 In Epic Come-From-Behind Victory
The Oklahoma City Thunder were 12 minutes away from the NBA Finals, holding an eight-point lead as the fourth quarter began. According to their Facebook page, the Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals, which kick off on Thursday.

The Bleacher Report said the Warriors were seven point favourites over the betting markets, while Sports Illustrated reckoned Oklahoma’s “mistakes and bad habits came rushing back at once” as they were overhauled in game six.
The NBA’s best team has roared back in the Western Conference Finals against Oklahoma City, defeating the Thunder 108-101 on Saturday night.
Added Stephen Curry, who scored 29 points: “All Klay needs is a sliver of daylight”. Their leading ball handler Russell Westbrook (28 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds) had four of his five turnovers in the final 1:49 minutes of the game.
Thompson hit 11 of 18 from 3-point range to set a new National Basketball Association playoff record. In the past two games needing just one win to advance to the NBA Finals, Durant shot a combined 22 of 62 from the floor, including 4 of 19 from deep. “That’s all we could ask for”.
“MAN “THE BASEDGOD” IS A NOBEL ONE, AS HE SHOWS US WORLDWIDE THE POWER OF TRUTH “THE BASEDGODS CURSE”, Lil B Tweeted shortly after the Thunder’s loss to the Warriors”.
“I’m so proud of everybody”, Thompson said.
In other words it wasn’t just lost in the final few minutes. “We got a little stagnant coming down the stretch”.
And really, given that the game was in Oklahoma City, maybe their comeback victory on the road was improbable enough for you. The Thunder had befuddled the small ball Warriors with their length at times in this series. A players whose importance can not be determined is Andre Iguodala (8 points and 7 rebounds), the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, who had two clutch steals and a clutch bucket in three possessions during the final couple of minutes.
Klay Thompson rescued the Warriors.
“They switched everything and kind of closed the game up, and we missed some shots and they got hot from the 3”, Durant said.
The Thunder led 23-20 after one quarter, then seized momentum early in the second.
According to power forward Draymnd Green, who had hit Steven Adams twice in the groin area, as reported by NJ, the key is to enjoy every moment, not looking ahead and not looking back as well.
“It has to be, just because of the situation we were in, down 3-2, haven’t won here in a while”, Thompson said. “It’ll be way harder than this game”. [The Warriors] aren’t going to feel sorry for us, and whoever is covering the game, fans, nobody’s feeling sorry for us.
“You’re playing uphill nearly the entire game”. We’re excited about that. “We know that. We’ve got our hands full with them”. So we want to hang in there.
