In case this is the first post you’ve read about the Warriors, they’re on a current winning streak of 18 games, without a loss mind you, that’s a historic start to the season. A little more than a month into the season a lot of teams are banged up right now but the Warriors haven’t had many injuries prompting LeBron James to say they are the healthiest team he has ever seen.
Golden State Warriors starting small forward Harrison Barnes suffered a sprained ankle in the Warriors’ 135-116 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, and it’s unclear just how much time Barnes will miss with the injury.
Barnes, 23, is Golden State’s third-leading scorer and is averaging 13.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in 17 games this season.

It’s only a sprained ankle, which means between a week and a few weeks. Brandon Rush started for Barnes on Saturday and scored 16 points in 19 minutes, while Andre Iguodala could also get a nice boost until Barnes is able to return. “We haven’t gotten the results back yet”, interim head coach Luke Walton told reporters before Saturday’s game.
