They’re not used to losing.

Their NBA-record start ended after 24 wins when the Milwaukee Bucks beat them 108-95 on Saturday night at the Bradley Center. He eventually felt pain in practice on Thursday, according to interim coach Luke Walton, causing the Warriors to take it slow with their starting shooting guard. “That’s why it is so hard to do what these guys have done so far”.

After Golden State’s try at an alley-oop off the inbounds pass failed, Boston had the ball with 0.7 seconds left, but Kelly Olynyk’s off-balance jumper was wide.

Stephen Curry stressed the importance of focusing on the big picture after the Golden State Warriors’ incredible winning streak finally came to an end.

Their 27th straight win had already tied for the second-longest streak ever, and now they trail only the 33 in a row won by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers.

Champions in 2014, they lost in the first round of the play-offs last season but brought in All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge in the off-season and boast the league’s second best record at 19-5 ahead of tonight’s match-up with the Atlanta Hawks.

In the end, they simply didn’t have the energy to keep up with a Bucks team that was clearly motivated to hand them their first loss.

“Are we better than a year ago?” says Diaw, a versatile, veteran forward and key role player in San Antonio.

The Golden State Warriors extended their season-opening winning streak to 24 games but had to scratch and claw their way to victory over Boston on Friday.

The Warriors play the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night to complete a seven-game road trip.

Steph Curry made 10 of his 21 shots to finish with 28 points, but was 2-for-8 from distance while shooting guard Klay Thompson, back after a one-game absence due to a sore ankle, went 4 of 14 from the field and 2-for-7 on 3-point attempts to finish with 12 points.

Milwaukee will have Sunday and Monday off before beginning a four-games-in-six-days trip that includes a visit to California, where the Warriors will get a chance to avenge the loss next Friday at Oracle Arena.

They’d challenge again the third, getting within a point with 1:32 to play but every time Golden State threatened, the Bucks answered with a defensive stop or a run.

The Bucks had an answer each time.

“We continue to fight”, Green said. Draymond Green poured in 24 points, adding a team-high 11 rebounds and five assists.

Curry said they can be proud of their achievement, but now it is time to move on. With Bradley sharing his blue Warriors road jersey, he airballed his first shot and made just 2-of-8 shots in the opening quarter. The Bucks are also averaging just 89.1 points in their last eight games.

HOUSTON – James Harden and Dwight Howard co-authored a strong offensive performance as Houston outgunned Los Angeles at Toyota Center.

In Chicago, Pau Gasol had 18 points for the Bulls, and Aaron Brooks scored 15 of his 17 in the fourth quarter.

PISTONS 118, PACERS 96 (at Auburn Hills, Mich.) – Reggie Jackson had 21 points and nine assists to lead a balanced attack for Detroit.
