Golden State went into the fourth quarter with a 91-79 lead, and maintained a comfortable advantage throughout the fourth to seal the victory.

Golden State Warriors entered the season with remarkable strike of wins. The defending National Basketball Association champions will return to Oracle Arena on Tuesday for a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

“We want to take it to the next level when we get home”, said Curry, who had 19 points. But we’re off to a better start than we were previous year, and I think we have talked about we’re a better team, so a lot goes into that.

“Congrats on being 15-0”, Curry said, smiling.

The Nuggets saw just how special the Warriors can be first hand. Ten of his points came in a decisive third quarter that saw the Warriors extend their lead to 13 points in part by cranking up their defense, holding Denver to 8-for-27 shooting from the floor coming out of intermission.

“All we’re doing is following his leadership”, Walton said. “They play the right way”. “We still had too many turnovers, but just an all-around great team win”. “It’s a hard task”, said Nikola Jokic, who had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Instead of airing the season finale of the 2015 World Series of Poker, the Worldwide Leader in Sports opted instead to show the Warriors’ effortless dismissal of the Denver Nuggets, a Western Conference opponent that is openly rebuilding. He had 19 points, the first time this season Curry hasn’t reached 20. The Nuggets, young and precocious, were content to run with the Dubs at altitude, and the intensity of the winning streak – it’s made nearly meaningless regular-season games feel like playoff contests – was showing.

Kenneth Faried was unavailable for tonight’s game due to an injury to his ankle.

Kobe Bryant scored 18 points in the game.

Resting wasn’t an option this time. “It would be something nice to get along the way”. Interim coach Luke Walton has kept in constant communication with Kerr and credits his system for the success.

In fact, you really have to ask yourself whether these Warriors are game to match a few of the all-time winning streaks. “So I’ve stopped asking it”. The 1948-49 Washington Capitols also won their first 15 but no player from that team has been enshrined. We’re OK with that.

James knows a thing or two about what it’s like to play with a team that isn’t 100 percent. Nuggets C Joffrey Lauvergne (low back strain) continues to sit.
