Golden State Warriors’ NBA run ended by Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks did what the Warriors usually do. However, they now have less attention and more freedom to solve their problems without everyone watching their every move.

At 24-1, the Warriors can afford to be philosophical about where they stand. They remain miles ahead of the rest of the league. “But what they did to start the season, there’s no reason for anyone to hang their heads in that locker room for losing that game”.
“Losing still sucks”, said Warriors’ interim coach Luke Walton. That’s why it’s so hard to do what these guys have done so far.
“The schedule and the road trip kind of caught up with us”. Golden State seems locked in and focused, however.
And with that, the Warriors placed this game and their streaks into the file of history. Milwaukee also snapped the Los Angeles Lakers 33-game winning streak in the 1971-72 season.
One night after shooting a season-low 39.3 percent against the Celtics, the Warriors shot 40.9 percent from the floor – their second-lowest total this season. This was no squeaker at the buzzer, but a Bucks runaway at the end.

Worn out as they may be, the Warriors face the Bucks trying to become the first team to sweep a road trip of at least seven games as they look to make it 29 straight regular-season victories before heading back to the Bay Area. The Warriors’ was stopped at 28.
In each instance, there was a sense of inevitability that Golden State somehow would go on one of its breakneck-speed runs to put away another opponent.
But the Bucks had an answer each time.
“We will definitely cherish this, because it doesn’t happen often”, center Andrew Bogut said.
Six players finished in double-figure scoring for Chicago, led by Pau Gasol’s 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Michael Carter-Williams puts the nail in the coffin! Our defense has been slipping so we need to get back to the fundamentals and basics of the game.
“For sure;” Curry said after Friday night’s win when asked whether the atmosphere inside Boston’s TD Garden felt like a playoff game. “But for 48 minutes, I don’t think anybody can say we played as hard as they did”. Fans were even seen wearing green “24-1” shirts as they cheered loudly for their Bucks. Wall scored 26 points and dished out 16 assists as the duo led Washington (10-12) to a big road win. They are the NBA’s best 3-point shooting team with two of the top shooters in the league.
Kobe Bryant had 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists for Los Angeles.
Over the last couple weeks, everyone was stepping up to take their best shot against Golden State. “I bet there will be a little relief mentally going forward from this point. But it is nearly like a sense of relief”, Green said. Bucks Gs Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez were out Saturday with ankle injuries.

A miserly San Antonio gave up only 25 Atlanta points in the first half to lay the foundation for a 103-78 win at the Hawks. If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
